Hello! I’m Ellie Altman and I live in the American colonial riverfront town of Chestertown, Maryland’s Eastern Shore, on the west bank of the upper Chester River, a major tributary of the Chesapeake Bay. It’s beautiful. My house is a modified four-square wood frame house built in 1910, known more recently as the McLean’s house, the family home of a former president of the small local college, Washington College. The house is best remembered as a great party house for all ages.
In spring 2015 I unexpectedly lost my job of almost two decades. Working At Home became my self-employment.
This website/blog is an effort to operate in the new world of social media. While practicing my writing skills here, I am exploring and learning what matters to me.
Welcome and thank you for joining me!
